Off-Grid Capability?
Our Airstreams can run off-grid for up to 24 hours, thanks to the batteries with an integrated BMS for enhanced safety and reliability. Note that Air Conditioning is not available when running off-grid.
What is the cost?
Prices vary per event based on numerous factors, including site fees, event fees, transport costs and more. Wherestreams work with a number of providers in order to offer our services, some of whom have exclusive agreements to provide accommodation services for that event. Wherestreams do offer direct to consumer pricing for smaller events, private parties, DIY weddings, glamping at home and more. Please get in touch directly using our Contact Form.
Can I use my hairdryer?
Unfortunately not. Due to the extremely high power consumption of hairdryers it is not possible to use them in our airstreams. We can supply a suitable hairdryer that will run off our electrical system which will be sterilised before each rental.
Can I bring Pets?
Whilst we love animals, unfortunately we don’t allow pets in the airstreams.
What do I need to bring?
As much or as little as you like. We will provide bed linen, towels, cookware, toiletries and cleaning products. Our Airstreams have plenty of storage for 4 people’s worth of clothes for 3-4 days.
What about security & safety?
Our Airstreams will have a door lock with a dead bolt, roof ventilation so you can stay cool even with the windows closed, and a mini safe for your valuables.
Our Airstreams have all undergone Gas, Fire and electrical safety checks with an Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS) approved service center.
Our Airstreams are equipped with a Carbon Monoxide alarm, Smoke alarm, Fire blanket and a first aid kit.
Do we have to empty the toilet and water tanks?
Our Airstreams should be fine for up to 3 days and will be equipped with tank level indicator alarms. Wherestreams staff will be on hand to fill/empty the tanks if required (this can be done without accessing the interior).
Is there Wifi?
No, the Airstream will not provide WiFi. WiFi may be available on site and will be confirmed at booking.
Is there power and can I charge my things?
Yes, there are 240V and 12V power sockets throughout. Whilst our airstreams are equipped with an uninterruptible power supply function we cannot guarantee the correct function of sensitive electronic equipment due to the frequency variations inherent in generator-supplied electricity.
